Excellent Case, Worth the Money if your looking for simplicity!!

I have a Canon T2i w/canon 55-250mm lens set-up. I just bought this camera about a week ago and I do have a gadget bag however I didn't want to lug that thing all over the place when I want to take my camera. I wanted something that I could just drop my camera into and carry around without any annoyance. I looked at several different ones but reviews turned me away. I then came across this case and figured for $20/shipped, I'll try it out. Went to Vegas this past weekend and used the case the whole weekend. I thought it was perfect. It fit my camera and lens really snug. As I was walking through the crowds I felt my camera get bumped several times but felt comfortable about it. Now this case won't protect it from a huge impact or maybe if you somehow drop it one story down. But as far as protecting it from minor bumps, it does its job. I actually got a compliment or two and asked where I had gotten it as in Vegas everyone's got DSLR cameras all over the place. The little zipper pocket carried an extra battery and a memory card, and thats it. Also anything larger than a 55m-250mm lens, might be a really tight fit but its neoprene and stretchable.

Not what is advertised

I am very disappointed in this case, which should more aptly be called "bag". While named "Flex Armor" it is anything but. I was looking for a case that would fit my camera snuggly, but it does not, even though it is recommended for my Pentax K-x. I should have realized it would not be snug since it was also "recommended" for Nikons and Canons as well; it was far from truth in advertizing: too tight for the Nikons and too loose for the Pentax. Also, the name "FlexArmor" indicates it should be more durable than it actually is.

I was looking for a fitted case that I could use without a protective bag, but this is not it. "Great for outdoor shooting when you don't want to carry a large cumbersome case". A fitted case is durable and protects the camera from a variety of shocks and bumps. You unsnap the front, it is still attached to the back of the camera while you take a picture. With this case you have to take the camera out of the bag and put the bag down somewhere. There is a little velcro tab attached so you can "hook it to your belt loop while shooting." What about those folks who use the bag and do not have "belt loops"?

"When all you need is your body, lens, battery and memory card, this case is the perfect solution". Not a lie since the battery and memory card go in the camera and the lens fits on the front, so it doesn't matter WHAT case you use with it.

All told, this is not the product I perceived it to be. I do not feel comfortable keeping my camera out of my regular camera bag while on trips. And while "you will prolong the life and quality of your dSLR camera by protecting it from dust, scratches and low-impact bumps", my regular camera bag does just that. With my camera in this "bag", it will not fit in my regular case, either. For me this was a waste of money.
